PNC Credit Card e-Bill Agreement

YOUR CONSENT TO ELECTRONIC DELIVERY OF PNC STATEMENTS ("Consent Statement")
Effective Date: April 1, 2015

This feature is for the presentment of electronic billing statements (including statement enclosures) from PNC Bank (e-bill delivery) related to your PNC Bank Credit Card statement. By selecting this feature you agree to the following:

Items Covered By This Consent Statement

You have the right to receive your credit card billing statements in paper form by mail. We may instead provide the credit card billing statement and enclosures to you electronically (as an “e-Bill”) if you: give us your Consent to do so, provide us a Designated Email Address and satisfy the System Requirements below. If you have multiple PNC Bank credit cards, each card will be subject to its own Consent Agreement. If there are joint account holders or multiple users of the card, then your Consent is the Consent of all joint account holders and users, and you verify that you are authorized to act upon all joint account holders and users.

The statement enclosures we provide through your billing statement, at a minimum, include your:

Consent

By agreeing to this Consent Statement, you give us your consent to electronically provide you the e-Bill and you certify you:

  1. meet our System Requirements,
  2. have successfully accessed the Test PDF document linked below, and
  3. will provide and maintain a valid Designated Email Address (collectively, your "Consent").

You understand that by giving us your Consent, you may no longer receive your credit card billing statement and enclosures in paper form and you accept any consequence of not reviewing the statement in a timely manner. Your Consent will remain in effect until you provide a Withdrawal of Consent or PNC Bank withdraws your card from e-Bills.

Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your Consent for e-Bill delivery at any time through your online account at the financial institution where you receive your e-Bill, or by calling the customer service number on the back of your Designated Card. You will also be deemed to have withdrawn your consent for e-Bill delivery if your Designated Card account status changes to a non-supported status, you terminate your PNC Bank Online Banking service, terminate your online account at the financial institution to which you enrolled in e-Bill, deactivate e-Bills or revert to receiving paper bills. Withdrawing your Consent will not affect the enforceability of any e-Bills already provided or your obligation to make payments. We will tell you about any effect on your Designated Card account during the withdrawal process. A joint account holder can also withdraw your Consent.

Modification of Consent Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at our discretion. We will provide you with notice of such modification(s) electronically in a manner consistent with Methods of Providing e-Bills below. If you do not agree to the Consent Statement as modified, you must notify us of your Withdrawal of Consent before its effective date. We will tell you the effective date in the notification, and change the effective date at the top of the new Consent Statement. Failure to withdraw your Consent, or take any other required action as stated in the notification before the effective date will confirm your continued agreement to the Consent Statement as modified. Modifications to these terms will only affect our respective rights and obligations from the effective date of the modification(s) and thereafter, and/or until a subsequent version of this Consent Statement takes effect, you withdraw your Consent, or the Designated Card is withdrawn from e-Bills by either you or PNC Bank.

Methods of Providing e-Bills

In this document, "provide" means to deliver, make available, send, notify or similar term. We may provide the e-Bill electronically through, or through any combination of: (1) your Designated Email Address (a summary only of your credit card billing statement), and (2) a link (designated as an icon) provided through your online account at the financial institution where you receive your e-Bills, which link will display your full credit card billing statement. It is your responsibility to review e-Bills promptly, so you can take appropriate action. We will use our best efforts to present all of your e-Bills in a timely fashion. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the information on the e-Bills is accurate and legible. In the event you do not receive an e-Bill it is your responsibility to contact us at 1-800-558-8472. You are responsible for ensuring timely payment of all bills, even if there is a failure of delivery of your e-Bill, unless such failure is due to an error on the part of PNC.

Designated Email Address

You certify the email address you provide for a Designated Card is your email address, and you want us to use it to provide e-Bills electronically ("Designated Email Address"). You agree to maintain each Designated Email Address until you provide a new one through your online account at the financial institution where your e-Bill was activated. If you authorize someone else to access your Designated Email Address, you agree to tell them to share e-Bills with you promptly, and you accept the risk that they will see your sensitive information.

Access to Paper Copies

You can request paper copies of your bill through your PNC online banking account, or by calling the customer service number on the back of your Designated Card. We retain copies of your bill for the time periods required by law and will provide you with copies upon requests made within those time periods. We do not necessarily retain copies for longer than is required by law. Save or print copies of e-Bills to ensure you have them when needed. The cardmember agreement for your Designated Card will inform you if there is a fee for copies of paper credit card statements.

Our Right to Send Paper

We reserve the right to provide your bill in paper form at all times at our discretion even if you have given us Consent to provide them electronically. For example, but without limitation, we may do this if you close your online banking account, if we have a system outage, if we suspect fraud, or if for any reason your Designated Email Address does not accept emails from us, or the financial institution where you enrolled for e-Bills does not accept the link to access the e-Bill.

System Requirements

To access and retain e-Bills, you must have a working e-mail address and a computing or communications device with:

To demonstrate you can access e-Bills in a PDF format, click here ("Test PDF" document). If you are unable to view the Test PDF document you need to install the necessary Adobe® Reader® software. Nothing in this Consent Statement alters your liability or obligations that currently exist between you and PNC Bank under the cardmember agreement.
